Life Skill: Thought

What you consistently think about will show up in your life.
How you think about it also gives it energy.
If you think you can, you will. If you think you don’t deserve it,
you probably won’t attain it – the goal, the love relationship, you name it.

If you watch or listen to discouraging news every day, how do you maintain a positive mind?

I attempt to stay informed of world events but I also search out the good news, the music that uplifts my soul, the actions I can do in service.
I find the more I surrender, Let Go and Let God, the more energy I actually have to do what’s mine to do. Sometimes it means mopping the floor. Other times it might be visiting a friend or teaching a Reiki Class.

Reciting and remembering the Reiki Precepts can bring our minds to surrendering control and freeing us to right action. We can become aware of our thoughts in the present moment. If the thought does not support you and your well being, then you are free to choose again.

心配すな:(Shinpai suna) WORRY NOT
感謝して:(Kansha shite) WITH THANKFULNESS
業をはげめ:(Gyo wo hageme) WORK DILIGENTLY
人に親切に:(Hito ni Shinsetsu ni) TO OTHERS BE KIND
